DEMARCATION
DEMARCATION outlines an analysis to be deployed in establishing reasonable and appropriate commercial boundaries (DEMARCATION) among unaffiliated Entities operating at the extreme far edge of AI research and development.
Typically comprised of Gamers and Programmers, these open and shared environments also include Professionals who access those Same Spaces for non-gaming and non-programming purposes.
For example, there are some technologically advanced Professionals and AI-Enhanced Platforms and Systems, operating at the far edge of data science, actuarial science, predictive analytics, and risk assessment, who have access to Certain Tools, Spaces, & Environments as a function of performing their jobs, usually on behalf of Members who have an interest in obtaining deep visibility into technology-related risks, no matter how remote, unbelievable, miraculous, or magical they may appear to be at first glance.
With backgrounds typically involving telecommunications, network engineering, math, and other STEM-based studies and disciplines, these Professionals have an objective to extend their view as far out into the network as possible, using the most advanced technology available, and deploying cutting edge research methodologies.
Generally described as Horizon Scanning, these Professionals scan the Field to obtain the most accurate and precise data and information available, with a specific goal of collecting as much data and information as possible to facilitate an in-depth and far-reaching analysis of the risks involved at a particular Juncture, as determined by the presence of Separate Systems.
DEMARCATION is warranted when it is apparent that priorities and objectives among unaffiliated Entities operating within Open, Shared, Parallel, and Overlapping Spaces are not aligned. In particular, DEMARCATION is used as a non-obtrusive method of enacting a Pause Point, providing the other party an opportunity to pursue a different path.
Recent Cases
Infringement
Claims of infringement alleged to have occurred between August 14-22, 2024, and involving the FIRE DEMARCATION, appear to have been made in haste and without adequate consideration of the facts, nor a thorough review of the allegedly infringing content. On that basis, claims of infringement are Stricken. Moreover, the legality of extracting data from a public website is unsettled law in multiple jurisdictions. On that basis, claims and statements accusing any person or entity of theft are Stricken.
Unreasonable Practice
The actions of one Data Vendor in failing to acquire proper authorization prior to extracting an unaffiliated Technology Risk Consulting Firm's copyrighted and proprietary content from various outlets, services, accounts, and platforms, and thereafter uploading such data to an AI-enabled software platform, which in turn generated a Chatbot based on the Firm's copyrighted and proprietary content is an unjust and unreasonable practice (FCC) and unfair trade practice (FTC). The Vendor is advised to immediately remove the unaffiliated Firm's data, content, and any other information from their servers and any other object or device deployed or employed by the Vendor for data storage and retrieval purposes.
Custom Security Protocols
It is a security violation for any Entity to disregard a Custom Security Protocol determined to be necessary for personal security reasons, and created pursuant to relevant policies and procedures.
